It is called political correctness JNoel, people nowadays are afraid to offend other people who just happen to be overly sensitive in reality.
I say MERRY CHRISTMAS to eveyone, if you feel offended by it, remeber that Christ is the reason why you have the day off and are at home celebrating with family and friends, not to mention receiving gifts.
It is sad to see that more and more people are removing Christ from Christmas and replacing it with a broad and undefined term like happy holidays; the same way that we are trying to remove "In God We Trust".
